Hillzart is a mixed-media artist based in Salt Lake City, UT.
Hillzart uses acrylic, ink and pyrography ( woodburning ) on wooden slices and panels to create some pretty awesome creatures and beasts - a final coat of crystal clear ArtResin brings them to life! Smaller rounds of wood are transformed into pendants and coasters.
The art of pyrography lends itself beautifully to this tree series - check out Hillzart's Instagram page to watch some great behind-the-scenes woodburning as she created these pieces.
